Jack in the box now has a crispy fried chicken sandwich, and because I love chicken sandwiches and Jack in the box, this is one that I had to try. They use a crispy breaded and fried chicken filet between a brioche bun and topped with pickles and Jack’s good good sauce. The chicken is delicious, it is crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. And the creamy sauce that they top it with really adds to the flavor of the sandwich. The sauce is a mayo-based sauce with brown sugar, tomato paste, mustard, and some seasonings that give it a little bit of spice. The sauce is slightly sweet from the brown sugar, with a little bit of kick to it from the spices. Together the creamy sauce and crispy fried chicken on the brioche bread make a really good and tasty sandwich that I would love to eat again.
The price for this crispy chicken sandwich is $4.99, which is about what the average price is for chicken sandwiches at other restaurants as well. Jack in the box also has a few other fried chicken sandwiches, and even a grilled chicken sandwich, but with Cluck sandwich, they add the sweet and spicy good good sauce to it and with pickles added on top. This crispy sandwich may become a regular of mine when I go to Jack in the box.
